Burdinola has joined the Nanoparticle Industry Association (NIA) on the occasion of the recent launch of the first camera tested to work with nanoparticles.
The Nanotechnology Industries Association (NIA) is the leading voice of the nanotechnology industries. On behalf of its members in Europe and around the world, they support the development of nanotechnology innovations that improve the lives of consumers, preserve our environment and move our world forwards. The association and its members are committed to the safe, sustainable and beneficial use of nanotechnology and nanomaterials in all industries and sectors. “We believe in fostering a better understanding of the important role of nanotechnology in society and building a positive global environment for nanotech innovation”, the association said.
We recently took part in a webinar on “Safe use of nanomaterials in the lab”, organised by the NIA together with Birmingham University (pioneers in Nano Safety) and the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH).
Burdinola was a driving force in this area, leading the presentation on “The state of the art in laboratory safety solutions”. This virtual meeting also served as a platform to present the new Nano Chamber to the world.
