Emergency showers and eye washes

There is always the risk of an accident in areas where aggressive or flammable liquids are handled. Showers and eye washes are the first emergency measure and are compulsory in many workplaces in accordance with the Health and Safety Laws and the Chemical Products Storage Regulation. It is important that showers and eye washes should be located in areas close to points of risk.

Safe Product

Emergency showers and eye washes designed in accordance with UNI 9608, UNI 10271, DIN 12899 part 2, ANSI Z 358.1/2004, and EN 15154/1. The design and the materials we use guarantee an optimum flow rate and good water quality, and make it easy to decontaminate and clean them.

Washing units

The washing unit is an important area in the laboratory, as it is of course a decontamination station. We provide numerous accessories that turn this unit into an efficient and tidy workstation where your technicians can concentrate on the work at hand: splash guards, flask drying racks, soap and paper dispensers, etc.

Designed for activities where your technicians have to wear specific clothing which is likely to get dirty. The lockers have sturdy doors made of top quality, 7/10 thick, cold rolled steel sheets, finished with an epoxy–polyester powder coating applied by plasma-electrostatic spraying. Concealed hinges add to their aesthetic appeal and we offer optional key lock and label holder. Choice of 1 to 4 compartments.

Modular metal shelves with a back stop which can be raised or lowered by increments of 25 mm and are connected by four hooks to the metal props which are in turn protected by plastic pads. The frame is reinforced by a longitudinal and transversal bracing system.

Fume hood frame kit

A fume hood frame kit has many uses in a laboratory. On benches and fume cupboards, for example, it allows customisable assembly and simple installation.

Fume hood frame kit for benches

Our fume hood frame kit for benches is made of Ø12 mm and Ø13 mm stainless steel rods joined together by special DURAL chromium-coated alloy nuts to create a grid. Its dimensions depend on the model of the bench on which it is mounted.

Our fume hood frame kits for fume cupboards are made of Ø12 mm polyester and fibreglass rods joined together by special DURAL chromium-coated alloy nuts to create a grid. The rods are made of a rust-proof material that is highly resistant to chemical attack. Various types of fume hood frame kits are available depending on the type and module of the fume cupboard.

Maximum load: 5 kg maximum static load per bracket at a distance of 100 mm from the support. Higher bracket loads on the worktop.

Sludge decanter

Our decanter is a circular tank where particles in suspension or sludge are separated from the water. They are then concentrated and discharged from the bottom while the clarified water overflows from the top of the unit for subsequent reuse.

Decanters and thickeners are specially designed to achieve high performance in the sedimentation process of suspended solids carried in the circulating water flow.

To totally recover the water and to eliminate the sludge it contains, the first step is to concentrate the sludge. This is the solution that is required to separate suspended particles and sediments and to purify and recover the water used in the washing processes that generate turbid water. The interior container can be easily removed and emptied.
