The project
Burdinola carried out the project to design the laboratory, and also the complete execution and management of the work for Faes Farma. The area in question was of more than 800 m² comprising all the laboratories, common areas and offices.
Faes Farma is a Spanish pharmaceutical company with an extensive international track record that researches, produces and markets pharmaceutical products and raw materials, and exports to numerous countries. Its headquarters, manufacturing and R&D and innovation centre are in Leioa (Bizkaia). They recently built a new plant at their facilities in Leioa, a state-of-the-art facility with an investment of around 11 million euros, in which Burdinola was awarded the contract to build their new quality control laboratories.
Burdinola completed this entire development project, also supplying and installing the laboratory furniture and fume cupboards adapted to the needs of this space for innovation.
These extraction elements need to interact with the air conditioning and ventilation system in place, in order to ensure the quality of the indoor air in the laboratory at all times, which translates into maximum safety for all laboratory users.
The pharmaceutical sector is a highly specialised sector where the demands of all of the laboratories' parameters are very high and where Burdinola has consolidated its position as a specialist.
