Burdinola has been awarded the contract to equip the laboratories of Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates. We have equipped their new laboratories with 53 fume cupboards, a critical element in the safety of a laboratory and where Burdinola is a leader with more than 40 models available in the catalog.

CI2A Alcalá Interdisciplinary Research Centre

Burdinola has been commissioned to design, manufacture, install and equip the new centre of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). The Alcalá Interdisciplinary Research Centre (CI2A) is the largest CSIC building constructed in the last 10 years.

Biocruces Health Research Institute

Burdinola has worked on designing and installing the new BIOCRUCES laboratories. The BIOCRUCES Health Research Institute was set up in 2008, with the aim of promoting research into biomedicine, epidemiology, public health and health services, in accordance with the strategy proposed by the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII) to develop these entities as organisational structures for promoting and carrying out research in hospitals.

It has 58 research groups made up of a team of 600 professionals who work in seven areas: maternal and child health and assisted reproduction; cancer; diabetes, metabolic and kidney diseases; auto-immune and inflammatory diseases and infections; the nervous system; surgery and primary care in prevention and chronic diseases.
